Well I guess the politicians in Illinois are getting on the laptop bandwagon under a proposal to purchase 169,000 computers for all junior high school students--

i wanted to know if my child could get a laptop for school and home at a price i could afford. I have 2 children with ADHD and dyslexia and it would really help my 10 year old daughter who can't spell or read well at all. she already gets RFD&D so I know she would be eigble

sometimes I think that when you have children with learing disabilites you should get a tax break because all the money you spend on tutors and meds can put people like us in the poor house.

I am looking for an organization or fund unknown to me that would help me aquire a laptop for my special needs child.
She has beed diagnosed as Mild Mentally retarded, had spinal fusion 1 1/2 yrs for severe scoliosis, has worn glasses since she was 10 months old. She is the only girl in her special ed class so I sometimes worry that she isnt getting the social environment that she needs to develope good friendships with other girls. A computer (which she is very good at you tubing the JONAS BROS) would almost be like a new friend.

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
