Very Low Cost Laptops Ready for Release

This blog posting is a followup to one from last year. It appears that the first low cost laptops are ready for release in the first part of 2007.  The designs vary but all are based upon principles of durability, long life batteries and human powered recharging, and viewability in direct sunlight.
